  • Can I send old flowers?
Yes!! I can use "old" flowers, regardless of how long you've kept them. Although, please make sure they're not moldy before sending to me.
  • How do I send my dried petals to you?
You will mail your dried flower petals to me. See INSTRUCTIONS page for more information. If you live locally, contact me and we can coordinate pickup/delivery of your flowers.
  • Do my flowers need to be fresh?
NO! Please do not mail fresh/damp/wet flowers to me. THEY WILL MOLD. Your flowers need to be completely dry. Find instructions for drying and sending petals on the instructions page.
  • How do I measure my wrist?
    1. Measure your wrist with a flexible tape, string or a strip of paper just below the wrist bone, where you would normally wear the bracelet. 2. If you are using a strip of paper or string, mark it with a pen or marker where it crosses itself. 3. Use a ruler to measure the length of the strip of paper or string. That measurement would be your wrist size. 4. Add 0.5 inch to your wrist size and round up to the next highest 0.5 inch. This is the recommended bracelet size for your wrist.
  • How long does it take? What's your turnaround time?
Once I receive your dried flower petals, your order will be started right away. It takes approximately two weeks to create an order of up to 6 items. More items may take longer.
  • How do I know what bracelet size to order?
The bracelet size recommended for a comfortable fit is found by adding an extra 1/2" to your wrist circumference measurement.
  • Should I send you ALL the petals I have?
No, please don't send ALL your petals to me. It only takes a few petals for each item. Plus, it's best for you to keep some petals in the event that the package is lost in the mail. This RARELY happens, but it's best to not put all your petals (eggs) in one envelope (basket)!
  • How will my order be delivered?
Your order will be delivered through Priority Mail USPS which includes tracking. You will receive an email when you order has been prepared for delivery. Typical transit time with USPS First class is is 5-7 days. However, we can not guarantee these timeframes.
  • What will you do with my petals after you've made my order?
I keep leftover flowers for a year, then they are discarded. In the case that you would like to place another order using the same flower petals, I would have them on hand. If you'd like your flowers to be returned to you, please make a note in your order in Special Instructions.
  • How many flowers does it take?
A little goes a very long way. For example, I could make several bracelets or other pieces from the petals of just one average sized rose, or the equivalent of that with other flower petals. Just pick out your favorite flowers from what you have, or one flower of each variety from your flowers and send 3-5 petals per item ordered.
  • What is your policy for returns or exchanges?
All orders are custom, therefore I do not accept returns or provide exchanges. Although, please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
  • How does this process work?
    1. Select your items and place your order. 2. Mail your dried flower petals to me. Find instructions for drying and sending petals on the INSTRUCTIONS page. 2. Once I receive your petals, I will make your order using your flowers. This process takes about two weeks. 3. When your items have been completed, I will ship your order to you. NOTE: I keep leftover flowers for about a year, then they are discarded. If you'd like your flowers to be returned to you, please make a note in Special Instructions field provided with each order.
  • What flower colors work best?
There is not one color that works better than another. The curing process for polymer clay requires heat. Not all flowers hold their color when placed under heat. Lighter color roses, such as white, pink, or lavender, tend to sometimes fade to a pale yellow or brownish color. Dark red roses, turn a very deep color. Not every flower reacts the same way. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that the color will turn out the same as the dried petal color. The most important thing is that your flowers have been put to use to create a precious keepsake.
  • What is the best way to dry my flowers ?
If you have fresh flowers that are ready for drying, a simple microwave drying technique can be done in a matter of minutes. Step-by-step instructions can be found on the INSTRUCTIONS page.
